Product Stability & Quality Assurance – Holos Health USA

At Holos Health USA, we are committed to delivering research-grade peptides of exceptional purity, stability, and consistency. Our peptides are manufactured using 100% USA-sourced Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) from certified domestic suppliers, ensuring full traceability, regulatory compliance, and the highest quality standards.

Our Proprietary Wet Inclusion Process

We primarily utilize an advanced wet inclusion stabilization process — a proprietary technique that embeds the peptide into a hydrated, biocompatible matrix during production. This method significantly enhances structural integrity, protects against degradation, and supports more reliable performance in laboratory research applications.

Key advantages of our wet inclusion process include:

  • Incorporation into a hydrated environment using HPBCD (hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin) complexation for superior solubility, reduced aggregation, and protection from environmental stressors (temperature fluctuations, light exposure, mechanical agitation).

  • Formation of stable, self-assembling hydrogel-like structures that improve peptide longevity, maintain bioactivity, and minimize breakdown during storage, shipping, and handling.

  • Enhanced resistance to multiple freeze-thaw cycles, cold-chain transport, and long-term storage (up to 1 year at 2–8°C) with no observable degradation or loss of immunoreactivity, as validated by SDS-PAGE, western blot, immuno-dot blot, and endotoxin testing.

  • Low endotoxin levels (<0.1 EU/mL), negative microbial contamination (bacteria, yeast, mold), and high protein purity (>95% via denaturing and non-denaturing SDS-PAGE).

While we also employ lyophilization (freeze-drying) for select products to achieve long-term shelf stability in powder form, wet inclusion remains our primary and preferred method for most peptides, as it delivers superior protection and performance in aqueous research environments.

Rigorous Quality Validation

Every batch undergoes comprehensive testing to confirm quality and stability:

  • SDS-PAGE and capillary electrophoresis — Confirm molecular integrity and purity.

  • Western blot and immuno-dot blot analysis — Verify presence and functional activity.

  • Endotoxin testing — Quantitative standard (Genscripts Inc. kit) ensures levels <0.1 EU/mL.

  • Microbial testing — Negative results on enriched potato LB agar and culture media (48 hours for bacteria, 7 days for yeast/mold).

  • Stability under stress — Demonstrated through long-term storage, cold-chain transport, and 5+ freeze-thaw cycles with no degradation.

These results confirm that our peptides maintain full structural and functional integrity under real-world conditions — making them reliable and consistent for advanced laboratory research.
